Fantasy managers should expect moderate production out of the 25-year-old who has struggled from the three point line, an area he's generally strong at. DFS managers willing to take a risk on a cheap option may find more value out of Trent tonight compared to fantasy managers in traditional leagues.

Trent started seven games for the Bucks to start the season but only averaged 8.0 PPG and shot just 23.1% from three, an area that's generally a strength for him as a 38.3% career three point shooter. It's unclear if the Bucks will put Trent back into the starting lineup but there's potential for him to have a decent fantasy impact with Milwaukee's need to replace Lillard's three point shooting. Fantasy managers should check in on the Bucks' starting lineup before putting Trent into theirs.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Gary Trent Jr. (back) won't play in Friday's meeting with the New York Knicks. The 25-year-old began the season in the starting lineup. However, he's struggled this season, resulting in a demotion to the bench in favor of Andre Jackson Jr., who had seven points, four assists, and four steals in Thursday's win over the Utah Jazz. With that said, Trent wouldn't have been featured in most fantasy lineups, so his absence on Friday won't be much of a blow to managers.

However, it's apparent the injury won't be enough to keep him off the floor. Trent played relatively well in the opener versus the 76ers on Wednesday, finishing with 11 points and two rebounds. With Khris Middleton (ankles) still on the shelf, Trent could benefit on the scoring end even more on Friday night, giving him some upside for those participating in deeper fantasy setups.

He's listed with a right calf strain right now, so his status is worth monitoring with Khris Middleton (ankle) still sidelined. Trent played 34 minutes in the team's opening game but didn't contribute much outside of his 11 points. If Trent is unable to get on the court, Pat Connaughton or Delon Wright will likely step into the starting spot while AJ Green or Andre Jackson Jr. may get some more opportunities off of the bench.
