Miami Heat forward Caleb Martin finished with 10 points in Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics. He added four boards and one assist. The 28-year-old was one of Miami's top rotational pieces during the regular season. He averaged a career-high 10 points. Unfortunately, he was limited to 64 games due to injury. That's been the theme for Martin throughout his career. He also isn't a consistent fantasy producer. Assuming he remains in Miami, he may battle for minutes with Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic throughout the 2024-25 campaign. Martin's injury woes over the years are another reason fantasy managers may look the other way.
Miami Heat guard/forward Caleb Martin (ankle) will be a game-time decision on Friday versus Portland. He plans to go through the pregame warmup before deciding if he can play through right ankle discomfort, which has troubled him lately. Martin hasn't missed any action since Jan. 10. He's struggled with his shot this month but has still averaged a solid 10.7 points with 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
Miami Heat forward Caleb Martin (ankle) is probable to play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night. The 28-year-old hasn't been forced to miss a game since early January, so his continued health has been a breath of fresh air for this team that has endured tons of injuries and missed games from their main rotation. Martin will likely receive north of 25 minutes in this contest since Tyler Herro (foot), Josh Richardson (shoulder), and Duncan Robinson (facet) all remain sidelined. Martin could garner some DFS attention in a game that's likely to be a blowout too.
Miami Heat guard/forward Caleb Martin (ankle) is in danger of missing his first game since Jan. 10, as the team considers him questionable for Tuesday's tilt against the Warriors. Martin has been a frequent guest on the injury report and is currently dealing with right ankle discomfort, but he's had an impressive ironman streak of 34 consecutive appearances. The 28-year-old leads the Heat bench mob on a nightly basis, averaging 10.8 points and 4.7 rebounds for the month. Patty Mills and Haywood Highsmith are in line to benefit from Martin's absence, although Miami's second unit might struggle on Tuesday because the Warriors allow the sixth-fewest bench points in the league.
Miami Heat forward Caleb Martin (ankle) has been cleared to play ahead of Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He was a late addition to the injury report but appears to be fine now. Martin has been playing over 30 minutes per game with the Heat shorthanded right now. The expectation is that trend is going to continue until the Heat get healthy again. Martin struggled during his last game but is worth a look as a streaming option with the Heat thin on depth.
