The 25-year-old Griffin spent his first four seasons with the Seahawks after being drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. He made the Pro Bowl in 2019.
Jaguars bolster secondary with Shaquill Griffin signing
Fantasy slant: Jacksonville's secondary needed improvement in a huge way. In 2020, the Jaguars allowed 10 100-yard games to wide receivers, while ranking 31st in PFF's coverage grade. Griffin will join second-year corner C.J. Henderson to form a solid pairing. Last season, Griffin allowed 45 catches on 73 targets for 552 yards and six touchdowns, while intercepting three passes. However, from Week 8 on, Griffin allowed just one touchdown and a 66.4 passer rating in his coverage. This signing makes a ton of sense for Jacksonville, while it makes an already weak Seattle defense even worse. — Adam Pfeifer
