Conklin will look to keep it going against the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. The Texans have been tough on tight ends this season, allowing just the 30th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Conklin has turned in a few nice games for fantasy this season but this is not the week to trust him in starting lineups. Treat him as a low-end TE2 this weekend.

Conklin brought down Aaron Rodgers' first touchdown pass of the game on a two-yard catch in the first quarter. The veteran tight end is quietly putting together a solid fantasy season as he now has 26 catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns through eight games. Conklin will be a streaming option heading into Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans.

Conklin has been dealing with a hip injury over the past few weeks but he is listed without an injury designation on the Jets' final injury report heading into the weekend. The Patriots have been tough on tight ends in fantasy this season, allowing just the 22nd-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Conklin could see a few extra targets with Allen Lazard (chest) listed as doubtful for the game but he still checks in as a low-end TE2 heading into the weekend.

Conklin did not rack up the yardage in this one but he salvaged his night with a one-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter of the contest on Sunday night. The veteran tight end has been a decent option as a fantasy tight end this season, catching 23 passes for 198 yards and one touchdown through seven games. He will be a TE2 in fantasy in Week 8 when the Jets take on the New England Patriots.

However, he carried the same designation ahead of the Week 6 matchup with the Bills, so this update isn't surprising. With that said, Conklin has only 19 catches this season, so he's not a viable fantasy option. The arrival of Davante Adams also means he will see less attention from Aaron Rodgers moving ahead.
