Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) logged a full practice on Friday and was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 18 matchup with the Browns. The wideout had a monster performance in the Week 13 win over Jacksonville, catching 11 of 12 targets for 149 yards and a touchdown. However, he's fizzed since then, amassing just 10 grabs for 134 yards and no touchdowns. Chase also has battled a shoulder injury, keeping him out of the lineup for the Week 16 AFC North clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers. But all things considered, the former LSU Tiger can always have a productive fantasy showing whenever he's on the field. Unfortunately, the Bengals were eliminated from postseason contention after losing to the Chiefs in Week 17, so there's a chance Chase won't play a full 60 minutes.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Chase missed Week 16 with a separated shoulder but returned for the Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and caught only three of his seven targets for 41 yards. Even though the Bengals have nothing to play for in Week 18 against the Cleveland Browns, Chase plans to play on Sunday, and he could see even more looks from quarterback Jake Browning with Tee Higgins (hamstring) looking unlikely to play. The 23-year-old will likely cost a pretty penny in DFS with the Browns resting key players as he looks to bounce back from a 10-134-0 line the last two weeks. In the Week 1 meeting against the Browns, Chase underwhelmed to the tune of five catches for 39 yards on nine targets.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) had his repetitions limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Chase separated his shoulder in Week 15 and sat out the Week 16 game before returning to last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. In his return, Chase was targeted seven times and only caught three passes for 41 yards in a game where the Bengals couldn't get much going offensively on the road. The 23-year-old should be fine to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against a Cleveland Browns defense that could be resting key starters as they head into the playoffs. Chase should be started in all fantasy lineups this weekend, and he should be able to bounce back from last week's performance, especially if Tee Higgins (hamstring) doesn't play.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) finished with three catches for 41 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. The former LSU Tiger was questionable entering this contest after missing the Week 16 meeting with the Steelers because of a shoulder injury. However, his return didn't benefit fantasy managers, considering he had one of his worst performances of the year. Nonetheless, with the Bengals eliminated from playoff contention, Chase may not play in Week 18 against the Browns. If that's the case, he'll end the 2023-24 campaign with 96 catches, a career-high, for 1,197 yards and seven touchdowns. Hopefully, with some adjustments, the 23-year-old can return to an elite level next season by posting numbers similar to what he had as a rookie.
