After returning to practice on Wednesday, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk (groin) was back on the practice field on Thursday as he continues to make his way back from a core muscle injury that landed him on Injured Reserve and required surgery. The Florida Times-Union's Demetrius Harvey says that Kirk isn't at full speed, but he's been amazed at the progress he's made. The 27-year-old could be officially activated from Injured Reserve by Saturday in order to play in a must-win Week 18 game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Kirk was heavily involved in the passing game for the Jaguars before his core injury, but he'll be a dangerous fantasy option if he returns this weekend since he hasn't played in a game since Week 13. If Kirk misses another game, it will be Calvin Ridley, Zay Jones and rookie Parker Washington in three-receiver sets. UPDATE: Kirk was limited again Thursday.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins eclipsed 1,000 yards for the seventh time in his career last week, and he has incentives in his contract to monitor in Week 18. The veteran will earn $250,000 each for reaching 75 receptions (he has 68), 1,050 Yards (he has 1,011), and eight touchdowns (he has six). With $750,000 on the line, he should be expected to play a full complement of snaps and aim for a nuclear performance to close out the 2023 season. The Jacksonville Jaguars have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, so he'll have that chance. However, his ceiling is lower if Ryan Tannehill starts in place of an injured Will Levis (foot). Consider Hopkins a boom-or-bust option for Sunday's AFC South contest.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) did some throwing on Thursday at the portion of practice open to the media, which is a positive sign as he attempts to play in a must-win Week 18 contest against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday. Lawrence put in a limited practice on Wednesday after missing the Week 17 win over the Carolina Panthers due to a right-shoulder injury he suffered in Week 16. All signs are pointing toward the 24-year-old returning this weekend to try and lead the team to a win and the AFC South title. Lawrence could be getting receiver Christian Kirk (core) back as well, which would only boost his fantasy value in Week 18 with many other high-end QBs being rested ahead of the playoffs next week. UPDATE: Lawrence was limited for the second day in a row Thursday.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has had plenty of down weeks this season, yet he still ranks eighth in total half-PPR points among ball-carriers this season. He has finished as a top-10 weekly running back seven times this year, but he's also finished outside the top 35 running backs on six occasions. Needless to say, he's a boom-or-bust fantasy option in the season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Jacksonville presents a neutral matchup for running backs, so Henry is likely worth starting in traditional fantasy leagues. His upside this season hasn't made him a strong DFS option, though. Sunday's outing could be Henry's final game as a Tennessee Titan, so it'll be interesting to see if he goes out strong with a vintage performance.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle, personal) was not present at practice on Thursday. Hill was listed as limited for the first practice of the week on Wednesday. As long as the Cheetah returns to practice on Friday, he should be ready to play on Sunday night in a big divisional clash against the visiting Buffalo Bills in which the winner will take the AFC East title. The 29-year-old speedster somewhat disappointed with Jaylen Waddle (ankle) sitting out in last week's blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens, as he had six receptions for 76 yards on 12 targets. Even if Waddle is able to return in Week 18, Hill should be heavily targeted yet again and will be a must-start for fantasy managers still competing for a championship.
