New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had a rough outing in Sunday's 28-3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones completed 14 of 21 passes for just 99 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, averaging a meager 4.7 yards per attempt. He was under heavy pressure all game, taking seven sacks and managing only 20 rushing yards before being benched in the fourth quarter for Drew Lock, who threw for just six yards. With 5.96 fantasy points in Week 7, Jones and the Giants face a tough Steelers defense next in Pittsburgh.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones entered Sunday's matchup with the Lions by carrying an injury designation because of a hamstring injury. However, it appeared the ailment wasn't a concern, considering he finished the day by amassing 93 yards and a touchdown off 14 carries, adding three catches for 23 yards. While the 29-year-old hadn't found the end zone on the ground since Week 1 leading up to this contest, he's been consistently productive as a pass-catcher and runner. Keep him starting on Thursday night against the Rams.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold threw for 259 yards, one touchdown, and one pick off 22-for-27 passing in Sunday's narrow loss to the Lions. He added four carries for 39 yards. The signal-caller was coming off a horrid performance in the Week 5 win over the New York Jets. While he played better on Sunday, it still wasn't enough, resulting in the Vikings first loss of the 2024-25 campaign. Minnesota won't have much time to sulk, as the team will meet the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night. Granted, Darnold was more productive earlier in the year. Still, he's worth starting in most fantasy setups.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) is officially active on Sunday for a big divisional showdown against the visiting Detroit Lions in Week 7. Jones was injured in Week 5 in London against the New York Jets but had the Week 6 bye to heal up and will now return to action this weekend despite being listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report. Fantasy managers can leave the 29-year-old in their starting lineups against Detroit, but Jones could lose some touches to both Ty Chandler and Cam Akers. As a result, Jones should be considered a bit more volatile as an RB2 coming out of the bye week. Jones has just two total touchdowns in five games in his first year in Minnesota, with his last rushing score coming back in Week 1. It's not a great matchup, either, with the Lions allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing RBs in 2024.
