Cole Kmet Recovering From Broken Forearm

Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (forearm) said that he broke his right forearm in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Green Bay Packers and currently has a brace on it. He said he'll be cleared soon and the injury won't hinder his offseason training at all. The 24-year-old didn't realize he had a significant injury in the loss to the Packers and finished out the game with three catches for 41 yards on four targets. Kmet has played in every single game so far in his four years in the NFL, and he finished last season with career-highs in catches (73) and receiving yards (719) while scoring six touchdowns in 17 games played. His fantasy outlook as a TE1 for the 2024 season will depend on what the Bears brass decides to do at the quarterback position. If they decide to move on from Justin Fields, Kmet will most likely be working with a rookie signal-caller.

D'Andre Swift Does Little In Loss To Tampa Bay

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift took 10 carries for 34 yards and added four receptions on as many targets for 32 yards during the team's 9-32 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 24-year-old started the game with a few solid runs, but the Eagles again got away from the run game and went with a heavy passing attack that resulted in little to no points scored. Swift was a victim of play calling toward the end of the season and now enters the offseason as a free agent. It would not be a shock to see Philadelphia prioritize resigning the former Detroit Lion, as he was a big part of their success at the start of the year.

D'Andre Swift To Play On Monday

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift (illness) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Monday's Wild-Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Swift sat out of the regular season finale due to an illness. It's likely that Swift would've played if it was playoff game, but team didn't want to risk anything. The expectation is that Swift would be back to his normal role. In fact, Swift could have an increased role as a pass-catcher with wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) ruled out for this game.

D'Andre Swift Faces Stiff Tampa Bay Defense Monday

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the NFL playoffs. The 24-year-old was given the week off last week due to an illness, but he is at no risk of missing this week's matchup after putting in full practice participation. The Eagles were running the ball well last week when they had the chance but went down so early that they abandoned the run game altogether. This week's matchup is much different. The Buccaneers allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. However, Swift torched them for 130 yards the last time he faced them back in Week 3. The former Detroit Lion will be a risky option for DFS managers on Monday night due to the Eagles' offensive struggles and the tough matchup.

D'Andre Swift Well On His Way To Playing Monday

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift (illness) was held out of the Week 18 loss to the New York Giants last Sunday, but he's now put in two straight full practices on Thursday and Friday and should be just fine to play in Monday night's wild-card postseason tilt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We're fully expecting the Eagles to remove Swift entirely from their injury report after Saturday's final practice of the week. Swift is going to be Philly's primary backfield weapon for the first round of the playoffs, but he has two big things working against him. For starters, the Eagles offense is entering postseason play out of sync with three of their star players fighting off injuries. Secondly, the Bucs defense was one of the worst matchups for opposing RBs during the regular season. If Swift doesn't find the end zone on Monday, he could disappoint in DFS lineups.
