Mark Andrews Limited To Individual Drills Friday

The Baltimore Ravens designated Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve on Friday, and he was limited to individual drills at practice on Friday. Andrews' return to practice comes two months after he suffered a serious left-ankle injury, but he looked fine running routes and cutting during individual drills. "I think we're on the same timetable that we were on," head coach John Harbaugh said after Friday's practice. "We're in that range. We'll get into next week, and we'll have a better idea." Andrews has been quarterback Lamar Jackson's favorite target since they were drafted by the Ravens in 2018, but it remains to be seen how productive the tight end will be if he's able to play in the postseason. He led the team with 54.4 receiving yards per game and six touchdowns through the first 11 weeks of 2023.

Ravens Designate Mark Andrews To Return From Injured Reserve

The Baltimore Ravens designated tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve on Friday. Andrews suffered a season-ending ankle injury on Nov. 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals but he's returned to practice and could have a chance to return during the postseason, especially since the Ravens have a first-round bye and don't play their first playoff game until the Divisional Round next weekend. We'll have a better idea of the 28-year-old's status for the Divisional Round once he begins taking part in official practices next week. But getting Andrews back in any capacity would be a huge boost for the best team in football. Whether he'll be a productive fantasy option if he returns to play is another story. If Andrews doesn't return, Isaiah Likely will continue to serve as Baltimore's top pass-catching tight end.

Zay Flowers Not Practicing To Begin Bye Week

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (calf) is not participating in the first of three bye-week practices. The talented rookie did not play in the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but other notable starters like Odell Beckham Jr. and Lamar Jackson were held out, too. He is dealing with a calf injury, so the team is likely to be careful with him during the week off. Flowers accumulated 108 targets, 77 receptions, 858 yards, and five touchdowns during his debut campaign. He'll likely rest up this week as the Ravens wait to see who they will face in the Divisional Round next weekend at home.

Derrick Henry Rips Off 153 Rushing Yards In Season Finale

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed 19 times for 153 yards and a touchdown in the Week 18 upset win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was Henry's highest rushing total of the year, and his 8.1 yards per carry was his highest clip since December of the 2020 season. It was an excellent performance for the running back, who just turned 30 years old this week. Henry's contract expires this offseason, so Sunday's win could have been his last game as a member of the Titans organization.

Isaiah Likely Catches Fifth Touchdown Of The Season

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely found the end zone once more during the first half of the 17-10 loss in Week 18. The young tight end continues to fill in admirably for the All-Pro Mark Andrews. He finished the season finale with two catches for 31 yards and a touchdown on two targets. Since taking over as the starter in Week 12, he's hauled in 21 of his 28 targets for 322 yards and five touchdowns. Not only has he proven to be a high-quality pass-catcher, but Likely has flashed some tremendous athletic ability, especially for the position. He and the Ravens will get some well-deserved rest with the bye in the first round of the playoffs.
