Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (hip, oblique) is believed to be dealing with a hip pointer and an oblique strain following Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys, according to James Palmer of Bleacher Report. The 23-year-old exited in the first half after catching two passes for 27 yards and one touchdown. The Falcons' young playmaker has been a reliable WR1 in fantasy football this season, but managers could be forced to pivot if London ends up missing extended time. In such a scenario, Darnell Mooney would step up as the Falcons' top receiver, with Ray-Ray McCloud III and tight end Kyle Pitts also seeing more targets.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III reeled in all three of his targets in Sunday's 27-21 win over the Cowboys, gaining 28 yards and scoring his first touchdown of the season. The 28-year-old added one rush attempt for seven yards. While the touchdown saved his fantasy day, he's averaged just 3.5 targets per game over the last four contests after averaging nearly six targets per game over the first five. Unfortunately, teammate Drake London was injured on Sunday, but if he were to miss time that could lead to a couple more targets for McCloud. The other thing working in his favor is that the Falcons take on the Saints in Week 10, the team who the Clemson product saw earlier this season, catching six passes for 52 yards in that matchup. All that being said and even though the Saints have been a favorable defense for opposing wide receivers, McCloud is still likely not a preferred fantasy option in Week 10.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney hauled in five of nine targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-21 win over Dallas. With fellow wideout Drake London going down with an injury early on in the game, Mooney and Bijan Robinson picked up the slack, accounting for 12 of Kirk Cousins' 19 completions. The 27-year-old has now earned six or more targets in seven of nine games and has gone over 80 yards receiving in four of them, with Sunday's TD giving him five on the season. An early look at next week's contest with New Orleans provides another favorable matchup with the Saints in the top third in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. If London were to miss any time, it would give an additional boost to Mooney and the rest of the receiving corps.
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson rushed 19 times for 86 yards and led his team in receptions for the second straight week after reeling in seven passes for 59 yards in Sunday's 27-21 victory over the Cowboys. The only thing missing was a touchdown, which was vultured by fellow back Tyler Allgeier who had just six carries on the day for 18 yards. The 22-year-old now has four consecutive games with over 100 total yards rushing and receiving, hovering right around the top five RBs for fantasy through the season's first nine weeks. Robinson's Week 10 opponent, the New Orleans Saints, just allowed two rushing touchdowns to Carolina's Chuba Hubbard on Sunday, totaling 10 rushing scores allowed on the season by New Orleans, which is tied for fourth-most in the NFL. With his continued involvement in the passing game, now with the second-most receptions (38) behind only Alvin Kamara (46), Robinson has a high weekly floor and is looking like an RB1 again next Sunday.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins led his team to a 27-21 victory over the Cowboys on Sunday, completing 19 of 24 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception. The interceptions were somewhat of a problem earlier in the season, throwing seven of them over the Falcons' first seven games, but now has a 7:0 TD:INT over the last two contests. Averaging 259 yards passing per game on the season, the 36-year-old will get another favorable matchup in Week 10 versus the Saints who have lost six in a row and allowed no less than 23 points in each of those contests. As such, Cousins figures to be a borderline QB1/2 next Sunday.
