New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) won't play in Sunday's contest versus the 76ers. The 26-year-old is still bothered by a left ankle injury, and although he had warmed up with the intention of playing, he won't be out there. While Robinson's DFS contributions have been scarce during this series, the Knicks could have difficulty slowing down Joel Embiid without him on the floor. But Isaiah Hartenstein will try his best, so he should get most of the minutes at the five spot. However, Hartenstein's added workload doesn't mean he'll be more productive for DFS managers.
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's meeting with the 76ers. Robinson began the series by nearly amassing a double-double with four blocks. Unfortunately, things have gone south since then, with the 26-year-old exiting Game 3 after reinjuring his surgically repaired left ankle. There's a real possibility he won't be out there for Game 4. But even if Robinson plays, he might not see enough minutes to justify his presence in any DFS lineup.
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) exited Thursday's loss to Philadelphia and didn't return. He reinjured his surgically repaired left ankle, with Joel Embiid's flagrant foul potentially contributing to his premature departure. Robinson played well in Game 1, nearly amassing a double-double with four blocks. Yet, he didn't do much in Monday's win and entered Game 3 riding a questionable tag. Unfortunately, Robinson's night ended after logging 12 minutes to finish with two points and seven rebounds. With the Sixers taking back a game in this series, the teams will meet again on Sunday. However, Mitchell may not be available for that one.
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is questionable ahead of Thursday's postseason game against the 76ers. Robinson was two points shy of a double-double in Game 1. He also had four blocks in that one. However, things were different in Game 2, with the 26-year-old finishing with just one point and four boards. With that said, he could be limited even if he's cleared to suit up, meaning DFS managers may want to keep him out of their lineups. Instead, Isaiah Hartenstein, amassing 14 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks on Monday night, should be the preferred fantasy option.
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson cooled off in the Game 2 win over the Sixers. The big man logged 30 minutes in Game 1 to finish with eight points, 12 rebounds, four blocks, and one steal. However, he played only 18 minutes on Monday night and wasn't nearly as productive. Robinson could bounce back at some point in this series. Yet, with Isaiah Hartenstein in the equation, Robinson will remain a risky DFS option for Game 3 on Thursday evening.
