Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (groin) is not spotted on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Leonard was unable to play in L.A.'s final contest before the All-Star break due to a strained left groin, but he participated in Sunday's All-Star Game and is available on Thursday. It's a tough matchup against a Thunder team holding opponents to the third-best field-goal percentage (45.3%) in the league, though.
The Los Angeles Clippers say forward Kawhi Leonard (groin) is out for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Leonard is dealing with a strained left groin and will miss his first game since late December. Groin strains can be tricky and tend to result in multi-week absences, so while the All-Star break comes at the right time for Leonard and the Clips, there's no guarantee the two-way superstar will be ready to go when play resumes on Feb. 22 in a showdown with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Paul George and James Harden will steer the offense on Wednesday, and Amir Coffey figures to make a spot start in L.A.'s first unit. In seven starting appearances this year, Coffey has averaged only 10.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, and 1.3 assists and isn't a great streaming option for fantasy purposes.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (hip) will play on Monday against the Miami Heat. The 32-year-old has had another productive season, averaging 24.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. Unfortunately, he missed the Clippers' previous four games because of a hip contusion. However, he's practiced fully over the last few days, so he's good to go. With Leonard back in the mix, Amir Coffey will head back to the bench, and he'll take any streaming potential with him.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (hip) is questionable ahead of Monday's meeting with the Miami Heat. Leonard has missed the last four games because of a left hip contusion. He practiced fully on Sunday. However, head coach Ty Lue couldn't say when Leonard would be back on the floor. Nonetheless, if the 32-year-old can't suit up for a fifth consecutive contest, Amir Coffey would presumably remain in the starting lineup. Coffey finished with 13 points and a steal in 31 minutes the other night against the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, he's not a trustworthy streaming option for those looking to fill the void in their lineups.
