New York Jets running back Braelon Allen carried the ball seven times for 27 yards and caught his lone target for seven yards in a 31-6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. Allen mixed in behind starter Breece Hall, notching seven carries to Hall's 10 in the blowout loss. The Jets have been inconsistent in their touch distribution for Allen this season as he saw just four carries in Week 9 and two in Week 7. Allen remains a high-end handcuff in fantasy behind Hall but is tough to trust in starting lineups. He will face off against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11.
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen saw just four carries for nine yards in a Week 9 win over the Houston Texans. Allen will look to bounce back in Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals on the road. The Cardinals represent a nice matchup for Allen as they are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game over the season. That being said, Allen has seen his opportunities cut since the Jets fired Robert Saleh following Week 5. While he remains a priority handcuff in case Breece Hall gets hurt, Allen should not be in starting lineups in fantasy heading into the weekend.
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen carried the ball four times for nine yards and failed to catch his lone target in a 21-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. Allen showed some life last week, turning 12 carries into 32 yards and a touchdown but he was right back to just a handful of carries behind Breece Hall in Thursday night's win. Allen has seen eight or fewer carries in five of his past six contests as the Jets have committed to getting the ball in Hall's hands of late. Allen remains a solid fantasy handcuff behind Hall but should not be in starting lineups in Week 10 when the Jets face off against the Arizona Cardinals on the road.
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen carried the ball 12 times for 32 yards and a touchdown in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Allen was surprisingly reinserted into the Jets' offense after seeing just 10 total carries in the previous three games. The rookie running back found the end zone for the third time this season on a two-yard carry in the fourth quarter. Allen remains a priority handcuff to Breece Hall in fantasy, although his inconsistent workload every week makes him tough to trust in starting lineups. He will next take on the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game.
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen has become a forgotten man in the team's backfield in the two games since the team fired Robert Saleh and made Jeff Ulbrich the interim head coach. Allen has handled just eight touches in his two games since the coaching change as the new regime has focused on getting the ball to Breece Hall. The Jets draw a plus matchup against a New England Patriots defense that is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs but Allen should not be trusted in starting lineups despite the plus matchup.
