He's striking out much less than last season (23.2% vs. 18.2%) and currently has a career-high Contact% of 82.4% to go along with a 10.9% Barrel%, which makes his production sustainable (although don't expect 13 home runs per month).

Santander hits in the heart of the order in one of the most potent lineups in baseball, and fantasy managers should continue to roll with him in all league formats.

The home run was a big one that knotted the game at 2-2 in the eighth inning, and came off of reliever Matt Strahm, who hadn't allowed an earned run in 27 consecutive appearances prior to Friday. After hitting .211 over the first couple months of the season, Santander has turned it on in June, hitting .273 with six home runs in 14 games. The switch-hitter now owns a .224-15-38-36-0 line with a .335 wOBA and 121 wRC+.
