Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers had a big night at the plate in a 5-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Jeffers went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk but it wasn't quite enough in the one-run loss. The veteran catcher's seventh-inning blast tied the game at 4-4. Jeffers is providing nice power numbers for a catcher this season, hitting .236 with 15 doubles, 13 homers, 30 runs, 41 RBI, and two steals across 220 at-bats. He is just one homer shy of tying his previous career-high of 14, a number he reached both in 2021 and 2023.

Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers is not in Sunday's lineup as the Twins look to clinch a series victory against the Oakland Athletics. Instead, Christian Vazquez will be behind the dish and bat ninth. After posting an incredible .338/.424/.636 line through April, Jeffers has been in a bit of a slump over the past two months and has begun to lose playing time to Vazquez. Jeffers should be expected to be back in the starting nine on Tuesday when the Twins start a three-game set in the desert against the Diamondbacks as the two backstops have begun to alternate starts. Vazquez has tallied five hits in his past five games with an overall .190/.213/.268 slash line. It is best to fade the 33-year-old backstop in DFS this afternoon as he will face Oakland southpaw Hogan Harris, who has posted a 1.66 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and an 8:18 BB:K ratio in his previous four starts.

Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers was 2-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI and a walk during Thursday's 7-6 win over the Kansas City Royals. Jeffers is now up to 12 homers on the season which ties him with Shea Langeliers for the most among catchers. The 26-year-old has been a fantastic power option for fantasy managers and is slashing .254/.342/.544 with 36 RBI and two stolen bases. Jeffers looks like a legit top-10 catching option at this point and should be rostered in all formats.
