After a fun weekend in Nashville, the UFC heads home to host an electric matchup between two Brazilian Gladiators. Rafael Dos Anjos and Vicente Luque are veterans of the UFC, and their body of work and fight style will forever be remembered by fans worldwide and people in Brazil.

The co-main event features two veterans also, except one has been with the UFC for over 10 years, and the other is in his fifth year with the promotion. Cub Swanson and Hakeem Dawodu are both exciting fighters. Still, Cub is nearly 40 years old and in a competitive and young division that requires you to have the durability to match the speed and reflexes needed for success. There are six fights on the main card and 13 fights overall. Another weekend full of violence is on the menu, and below I’ll be listing and briefly explaining why I believe these fighters below are an excellent fit for your lineups this weekend. All odds and bets mentioned below will be on the BetMGM sportsbook app.

Check out my betting breakdown of the card.

Tier 1

Hakeem Dawodu $9,000

Hakeem is in a position to win and collect the scalp of a heavily respected veteran. This fight should be fun and straightforward for Dawodu if he limits the chaos and picks apart the nearly 40-year-old vet. It’s Dawodus’s fight to lose, and I believe he pitches a shutout.

Rafael Dos Anjos $8,200

It’s a battle between two long-time vets. The one who withstands more damage and comes out on top will win. I believe that to be RDA because he proved in his last fight that he was still sharp and capable of dominating if he could get to his game plan. Not to mention, Luque is returning from an injury that included bleeding in the brain. Who knows how much damage he can take?

Tier 2

Terrance McKinney $9,200

The UFC is throwing a bone at McKinney here. If he can’t find a win and get back to finishing fights, he might be cut and back on the regional scene. Terrance is on a two-fight losing streak, and losing another battle to a debutant will not look good.

Khalil Rountree $8,900

Chris Daukaus is in a new division against a very dangerous opponent. This feels like a message from the brass that they are trying to get him out. Daukaus is coming off terrible losses, and Rountree is not only faster but also hits harder and incorporates kicks well into his game. This should be a quick finish for Khalil.

AJ Dobson $7,800

One of my favorite bets of the week. Dobson should be able to put it all together to beat the withering Tafon Nchukwi. The durability issues for Nchukwi are glaring, and I feel they’ll show up again here.

Tier 3

JP Buys $6,600

JP is a very live dog this week against an aggressive fighter who is only coming into his third fight and also can be exposed on the ground.
