The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to offer guardTyrese Maxey a five-year, $205 million deal this summer, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. The 23-year-old had a breakout 2023-2024 season, earning his first All-Star selection and securing the Most Improved Player award. In his fourth NBA season, Maxey averaged 37.5 minutes, 25.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.0 steals across 70 regular season contests.

With the Sixers down two games to New York, the series will head back to Philly for Game 3 on Thursday night. Expect Maxey to continue to play heavy minutes and get a bulk of the scoring chances.
