After a brief break, we return to a full slate of EPL action this weekend. We have a large DFS slate of games Saturday that I am excited to break down. Arsenal is starting to pull away slightly atop the table with Manchester City chasing. There’s a massive regulation battle brewing and still lots to be decided in the league. Hop in the FTN Discord for more advice and picks on leagues around the world. All of my betting picks will be up on the FTN Bet Tracker, and you can get access to my other thoughts/ideas on my Twitter (@vdray5). Let’s get to the slate.

FanDuel has seven games Saturday, DraftKings six.

Forwards/Midfielders

Ollie Watkins ($23, $8,900) is in his best form of the season. He has scored in eight of his last 10 league games, and he has an awesome matchup for continued success this weekend. Forest has one of the weaker defenses in the Premier League, and they struggle especially in the middle of the pitch where Watkins should dominate.

James Maddison ($22, $9,000) is another top target for me this weekend. His form and fantasy performance have both dropped off a little recently, so you might get him at some lower ownership in a perfect spot for him to bounce back. Bournemouth has been a top-notch matchup for opposing attackers all season long with most shots and most chances created allowed.

One potential stack spot is a game stack in the Newcastle/Brentford fixture. Both teams have been weak defending opposing strikers in the middle of the defense. Alexander Isak ($20, $8,800) looks like he’s finally starting to figure out the Premier League as he returns to full fitness. He has four goals in four games and is averaging 28.8 FanDuel points in that stretch. He is the most likely anytime scorer in this game at +170 on FanDuel Sportsbook. Callum Wilson ($18, $8,600) is a few dollars cheaper in a similarly good spot with +175 anytime goal odds. On the other side of the pitch, you can easily pair a Newcastle attacker with Ivan Toney ($19, $7,900) who has been a consistent goal scorer all year for Brentford. For reference, he is +210 to score in this game.

The final main spot I am looking for some attackers on this slate is with Brighton on the road against Tottenham. The home side has had some poor defensive efforts lately and now take on a Brighton attack that is still scalding hot. Evan Fergusen ($19, $6,800) and Alexis Mac Allister ($17, $5,900) are an enticing ministack that will likely go overlooked on this slate.

Other players to consider on FanDuel are Jack Grealish ($18), Andreas Pereira ($15), Jacob Murphy ($13), Douglas Luiz ($13), N’Golo Kante ($11) and Wilfred Ndidi ($10). On DraftKings, Leon Bailey ($6,500) and Douglas Luiz ($6,200) are worth a look.

Defenders

There are some solid defenders to pay up for on this slate with high attacking upside. Kieran Trippier ($16, $8,500) is having the best season of his career and continues to churn out A+ fantasy performances. He has an elite matchup against a Brentford team that is allowing the second-most chances created and third-most crosses. He’s very expensive, especially considering the lack of value for attackers on this slate, but he’s worth the money if you have some left over.

Ben Chilwell ($13, $6,700) is still playing well and has a good matchup as a Chelsea wingback in this game. Chelsea could be due for some positive regression in front of the net. Chilwell has one of the higher ceilings in this price range with three straight 20-point performances in March.

The last defender to splurge on for some good attacking upside would be Ricardo Pereira ($13, $5,400) if he gets the start. He has a great matchup against a Bournemouth team that has allowed the most chances created this season. Pereira’s attacking upside has been strong since returning after injury.

For some value, Nathan Ake ($9) and Ruben Dias ($9) are intriguing. They have a good matchup against Southampton who concede a lot of defensive stats, and Southampton has difficulties scoring, so a clean sheet bonus is possible here as well.

Also consider Ivan Perisic ($11), Ethan Pinnock ($15), Nelson Semedo ($9) and Craig Dawson ($11). On DraftKings, Aaron Cresswell ($5,200) and Antonee Robinson ($4,600) are viable.

Goalkeepers

Emiliano Martinez ($13, $5,700) is one of the top goalkeeper options on this slate. He has the best matchup in the league facing a Nottingham Forest squad that has just five goals in 14 games on the road. Aston Villa should also win this game and get Martinez both bonuses.

West Ham is desperate for results as they sit even on points with Bournemouth who is in the relegation zone. I think they turn in a strong defensive effort backed by Lukasz Fabianski ($11, $4,500) against a Fulham team that will be without their star striker. Fabianski has an affordable and fair price tag for this matchup.

Also consider David Raya ($9, $4,400) if you fade Newcastle attackers and Kepa Arrizabalaga ($13, $5,300) if you can afford him.
