Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (hip) is expected to play in Sunday's matchup with the Saints. The rookie has 24 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns this season, so he's the best pass-catcher on the roster. Naturally, there was some concern when he missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before logging a limited session on Friday. However, it appears McConkey will be good to go, which is certainly good news, considering Will Dissly (shoulder) and Quentin Johnston (ankle) are also carrying injury designations. With that in mind, McConkey deserves starting fantasy consideration in Week 8, even if DJ Chark Jr. (groin) is back on the field.

The Chargers have decided to bring up both Reagor and Jaylen Johnson with multiple wideouts banged up. Right now, Quentin Johnston (ankle) is considered doubtful for Sunday while Ladd McConkey (hip) remains questionable for Sunday. Despite the injuries, it's hard to imagine Reagor or Johnson having a significant role in the offense. Both players are likely getting brought up as depth, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a streaming option for Sunday.

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Dissly did not participate during Wednesday's and Thursday's practice but returned to practice on Friday in a limited capacity which is a promising sign for his status this weekend. Last weekend, the 28-year-old tight end saw a hefty 11 targets and was able to bring in eight of them for a season-high 81 yards. With wideouts Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey also listed as questionable, the Chargers may lean heavily on their rushing attack facing one of the worst rushing defenses in football. Fantasy managers should expect J.K. Dobbins to be heavily involved on Sunday and be viewed as a high-end RB2.

However, he's moving in the right direction after logging three limited practices throughout the week. Los Angeles is hurting on the offensive side of the ball, with Quentin Johnston (ankle) doubtful and Ladd McConkey (hip) questionable. If Chark is active for this one, he could see limited snaps. But if McConkey and Johnston are ruled out, Chark would enter the flex conversation

Tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) is also questionable for the contest, while wide receivers Quentin Johnston (ankle) and Derius Davis (hamstring) have both been deemed doubtful. It's been quite the whirlwind of injuries for the Chargers over the last few weeks. With a litany of athletes' statuses in question, tight ends Stone Smartt and Eric Tomlinson and wide receivers Joshua Palmer, Simi Fehoko, and Brenden Rice are the only Chargers pass-catchers not to carry a designation ahead of Week 8.
