Indiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (elbow) has received a questionable status due to elbow bursitis and may not suit up against the Utah Jazz on Friday. If there's ever a good time to get a rest game, the Pacers would likely choose this one against a banged-up and last-place Jazz team. So, if Siakam doesn't suit up, while Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Bennedict Mathurin (calf) are both questionable, they could be very thin in the frontcourt. Obi Toppin, Jarace Walker, and T.J. McConnell could all see a big bump in minutes and usage. In their last game, Walker played the most out of the three and posted 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Dave McMenamin of ESPN.comreports that Los Angeles Lakers forwardRui Hachimura (knee) won't play on Friday versus the New Orleans Pelicans. Hachimura will be out of action with a minor knee injury after finishing with 24 points, six rebounds, and three assists across 34 minutes on Thursday against Golden State. He will likely return on Sunday against Oklahoma City. While Hachimura is on the shelf, Dorian Finney-Smith and Dalton Knecht could see a fantasy boost with more minutes and extra scoring opportunities for tonight's matchup.

Portland Trail Blazers guardScoot Henderson(concussion) will remain sidelined for Friday's meeting with the Chicago Bulls. He is still in concussion protocol, sitting out a fourth consecutive game. With Henderson no longer in the lineup,Dalano Bantonhas taken on a larger role. He was busy in a 112-103 win over the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, finishing with 23 points, three rebounds and two assists across 37 minutes. Anfernee Simons(forearm) is listed as questionable, leaving Banton with possibly a heavier workload than expected for tonight's matchup.

According to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun, Toronto Raptors forwardScottie Barnes(hand) won't play against the Detroit Pistons on Friday. The 23-year-old will be out of action during the second leg of a back-to-back set due to an injured right hand. On Wednesday versus the Blazers, Barnes finished with five points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal in 27 minutes on the floor. He's been bothered by a contusion on his right hand, which has undoubtedly impacted his shooting numbers recently. While Barnes is sidelined, Jonathan MogboandCole Swider will be in line for a more prominent role in tonight's contest.

Utah Jazz centerWalker Kessler (nose, concussion) is unavailable for Friday's matchup with the Indiana Pacers. Kessler is currently in the NBA's concussion protocols, meaning he could miss a significant amount of time. The 23-year-old big man is averaging 11.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.4 blocks across 58 appearances this season. With Kessler out of action, Kyle Filipowski and Brice Sensabaugh will likely be called upon to take on most of the Jazz front-court minutes this evening.
